In the future, all the world was at peace and everyone had Power Macs with cable modems. (Remember, it's just a story). Then a disaster happened. Someone or something infected the 'net with deadly viruses that began eating away at people's data and software. This was a real catastrophe in our heavily digital world (especially since TV was now broadcast over the 'net!).

 

Fortunately, the SCA (Software Control Agency) has created a special browser that can interface to the 'net without becoming infected. Dubbed "MacAttack," this browser, under the controls of a skillful user, can kill the deadly viruses infecting the 'net.

 

MacAttack plays similar to the arcade classic "Tempest." It's a fast-paced, addictive shoot-'em-up game that's fun for people of all ages. It has 30 levels and dozens of foes. There are 5 difficulty settings, and unlike most games, they significantly affect the way the game is played.
